Sun Tunnels

The Sun Tunnels is a revolutionary new way to pipe natural daylight from your rooftop into your home. It brightens up areas from dawn to dusk where daylight from windows cannot reach.

Using natural light reduces the amount of energy required to provide lighting so reduces carbon dioxide emissions.

Sun tunnels can be fitted onto slate and tiled roofs and are available with a rigid or a flexible tunnel.

How it works

Sun Tunnels are made to bring direct sunlight into the house by installing a reflective tube from the roof top to anywhere in the house. The tube can extend through adjustable bends and it has an internal mirror finish that intensifies and reflects natural daylight into the house.

Benefits

  • Sun tunnels have no carbon emissions as it is green and is a renewable energy.
  • Sunlight is free so after initial costs electricity bills would be greatly reduced.
  • There is a wide range of installation options as there is virtually no limit to the length of sun pipe or number of bends that can be used to take natural light to exactly where you want it.
  • No maintenance required and it is self-cleaning due to its shape and eliminates condensation problems.

Installation and where it can be used

Sun tunnels can be installed into any roof and it is relatively easy to do. It can be used both in domestic and commercial properties. Ideal locations within domestic properties include bathrooms and cloakrooms that receive very little light.
